Chilled Water Applied Systems

Chilled Water And Applied Systems

Chilled-water applied systems use chilled water to carry heat energy between a building’s airside, chillers and outside. They can be very effective towards helping keep a building or workplace’s air clean thus promoting comfort of staff and employees.

While water-cooled chillers are rarely installed as separate components, some air cooled chillers offer the flexibility of separating the components for installation in different locations allowing for the positioning of the components based on their optimal location according to environmental requirements of a building, such as room, access and sound. Chilled-water applied systems also have other benefits such as refrigeration, which when set up and placed centrally can reduce the risk for leaks, and also make their containment easier if these were to happen.
